A slew of Draft N routers were released last year, promising but not delivering the tremendous performance the forthcoming 802.11n wireless standard is expected to provide next year. Netgear’s WPNT834 is “just” an 802.11g router, but its proved it could more than hold its own against any Wi-Fi router, thanks to multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) technology. It also offers solid documentation, simple setup, and ample security features.
