10 Easy Steps to Configure Your Notebook for Wireless Internet Access

For Windows 2000/ XP users:
- Click on the Start button on the lower left corner of the taskbar.
- Select Setting, Control Panel
- Double click on the Network Connections icon, then select Wireless Network Connection
- In a new window, click on the Properties button
- Scroll down till you see Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click on Properties button
- In the General tab, select Obtain an IP automatically as well as Obtain DNS server address automatically.
- Click on the OK button twice and you are ready to test
- Launch your browser, such as Firefox, you will see a login registration screen of the Wireless service provider
- Follow the instructions and keep your credit card number handy as you will be asked to provide if you do not already have a prepaid access card
- Once you key-in the card number, you’re ready to surf
