D-Link has launched a new security camera that will ensure your home security.
The SecuriCam DCS-950G is a wirelass web camera. It does not need to be plugged into the computer, so you can install it in your living room or near your front door to catch the culprit who has been stealing your newspaper or watch for suspicious people outside your house.
It connects to wireless broadband at a speed of up to 54Mpbs and conforms to IEEE 802.11g for security.
For those who want to use it as a regular web camera, the DSC-950G can also be connected to Ethernet cable. The camera features motion detection, meaning it can be configured to record and trigger email alerts when any movement is detected.
| It also has low light sensitivity, and can work in dim light, making it ideal for night surveillance. You can control the camera via the web browser, and it also comes with software that can be used to manage up to four comeras for a computer security solution. |
